I was a little leery of trying out the Dr. Scholl's high heel inserts because I don't wear high heels at school teaching; although a lot of my coworkers wear really high stacked heels. I got an opportunity going to a Yellow Ribbon gathering for my son who is deploying to Afghanistan. I took my heels and the inserts and wore them all day the first day,, this was literally jogging through a conference center to different rooms and speakers, up and down elevators and escalators, across the parking lot a few times. I have to admit when I found out what the schedule was I almost changed my mind! I went back to the room and put some slip ons in my bag "just in case". When lunch came around many rooms and runs later, I was shocked that my feet felt fine! I haven't worn heels in ages so I was positive I would be dying within the hour but they were very comfortable, they allowed my feet to breath and cushioned them very nicely. I asked a couple of other women there how they were hanging in because they wore heels and they said their feet were killing them. I showed them what I was wearing and they looked at them and wrote down the name and over lunch went to a nearby store and picked up inserts to try. They really liked them too and I have to admit it will give me more of an impetus to wear heels at work more often.
I'm happy I did this Bzzagent test, I would never have tried them otherwise.
